Privacy & safety
Your privacy isn’t a setting. It’s the default.
Looking for support should never put you at risk. Outline is built so you can read, search, and find help without an account, without tracking, and without leaving a trail.
No account, ever
You never sign up or log in. There’s no profile to find, and nothing tied to your name.
No tracking
No advertising trackers, no selling data, no building a picture of who you are. We collect as little as possible.
Quick Exit anywhere
A Quick Exit button sits on every page, and pressing ESC three times leaves instantly for a neutral site.
Leave fast, any time
One tap — or three taps of a key — and you’re gone.
Quick Exit sends you straight to a neutral website and replaces this page in your history. Or press ESC ESC ESC to do the same from your keyboard.
What we do — and don’t — collect
We don’t use analytics, advertising pixels, or third-party tracking scripts — none at all. We don’t ask for your name, email, age, or location, and we don’t use cookies that follow you around the web.
When you tap a crisis line or an outside resource, you leave Outline and enter someone else’s site or phone system — each has its own privacy practices. We link only to resources we’ve vetted, but we can’t control how they handle your information, so it’s worth glancing at their privacy note too.
Staying safe on a shared device
If you use a phone or computer other people can access, a few habits can help keep your browsing private:
Private by design
Look for help freely. We built this so you could.
No sign-up, no tracking, and always a way out. Start wherever feels right.
